Redvers was a member of the management team that established OPDU in 1997 and has been continuously involved in running the business ever since.
He qualified as a barrister in 1992, completing his pupillage at the Chambers of the late Anthony Scrivener QC, during which time he gained considerable experience in public and commercial law.
Redvers joined Thomas Miller, OPDU's parent company, in 1994 as a claims executive in its professional indemnity division, defending barristers, solicitors, patent and trade mark attorneys and architects against allegations of professional negligence.
He subsequently moved into underwriting and business development and is now the chief executive of the professional indemnity division.
As well as being involved in setting up OPDU, Redvers has established legal expenses insurance and litigation funding businesses.
